The Vincent Price is Right

Step right up my dear and take a spin on the wheel of fate. Oh it will be most ghoulish, most ghoulish inDEAD, I mean indeed (the joke was worse then the house's ghoulish goulash). Writing like this is enough to make any Poe soul spin in their grave.
Speaking of spin are you ready to gamble... YOUR SOUL!

Below you will find the discarded corpses sacrificed in the process

Dr. Sketchy #11: The Hilarious Hijinks of a Liberal Cheerleader in Middle America

The year: 2012. The day: Election Day. A country was divided and one naughty, liberal, cheerleader wandered carelessly into Middle America. Mothers wept in secret, praying that their Bible raised sons would not be swayed by the tarty temptress as she flaunted her sexuality. It was a disaster waiting to happen. Finally one brave farmhand said enough. He would teach her a lesson by his own hand.

Eye Spy Medical Malpractice

A couple of quick photoshop paintings just in time for Samhain.
Dr. Ira fancied himself a plastic surgeon and Isadora wanted to have a unique look but neither took into account the issues that could occur with myopic vision. Rather then embrace her unique look Isadora went insane with rage and murdered Ira. Isadora has been on the run ever since hiding behind a mask and Dr. Ira has become a legend among surgeons for making Total Recall a reality.

Basket Kase Beast

A damned soul who threw away everything that mattered for the Game, he now haunts alley ways during the witching hour, challenging anyone who meets him to a game. If you lose to this beast he will steal your soul but he may settle for some Blue Raspberry Sports Drink. He craves electrolytes.

Dr. Sketchy #9: Like a Band-Aid, right off!

I didn't notice until I got home and laid all these out on one page but our model was kind of unintentionally telling a little story about being a model for the first time.

FYI This is the same girl, she had on a wig.

Sherlock Holmes and his trusty man servant... The Incredible Watson

Thanks to the very biased records kept by Sherlock Holmes, very few people know the truth. In reality Holmes was a tiny man whose brilliant deductions were often ignored in favor of Watson's more... personal approach to solving crime. An idea I got from Nancy Beiman's Prepare to Board book. The challenge was to change the context of a Sherlock Holmes scene with camera work but I cheated and also changed their sizes.

'arry Potter an' the Order of Blimey Limeys

Harry awoke with a start. The scar on his forehead was hurting again, though not nearly as bad as his bloomin' gulliver. Realizing he had no reasonable excuse to stay in bed he grudgingly hoisted himself from his 4 poster bed and thought to himself, "Great, another walking day...." Down in the common room Her My Knee was runnin' her bleedin' gob about some book to 'arry's best friend; Roonil Wazlib.

Dr. Sketchy #6 Danni and the Chipmunks

It's been a month since my last post! Here is this month's Dr. Sketchy. The contest was to incorporate chipmunks into a drawing. I think my drawing has a better character dynamic then the current chipmunk movies although the parents might frown on it. Stay classy Burbank.

Dr. Sketchy #5 Kimonos and Cherry Blossoms

This was my first one in a while since my Storyboard class took place on the same day, at the same time as Dr. Sketchy. Lots of people at this Dr. Sketchy this week. It's very inspiring drawing with so many talented artists and it really drives me to get better. Plus you get to draw all these sexy women.

Fairly Odd Parents Style Study

I was studying the Fairly Odd Parents character since they are pretty far from how I normally draw. My favorite character is Dinkleberg.

Iroh Interrogation

So I've been taking a Storyboarding class for the past 12 weeks (hence why there have been very few updates as of late). Here's one of the homework assignments I did. I'll slowly post more of them! We've been using models from Avatar the Last Airbender. I've never watched the show but with The Legend of Korra coming out I may give it another shot.

The Scorpion

Mercenary Lorraine "The Scorpion" Madison was paid good money to clear out the Native American village in order to make way for the new railroad. As the village burned to the ground only the village elder remained to see the blood soaked woman responsible for the carnage and came up with his revenge. Being a woman of inhuman skill, she would no longer be fully human. Using his magic the elder branded her with a scorpion tattoo made of scorpion venom. The Elder explained that the souls of the innocents would not be able to rest due to their brutal murder and would take the form of demonic animals. It would now be up to The Scorpion to defeat the animals and free their souls. If she does not break the curse in one year the tattoo will engulf her entire body and kill her. Will The Scorpion act to preserve her own life or will she learn to act for the salvation of the souls she scarred?

Christmas Critters

Christmas Sweaters that you abandon after Christmas become possessed by the souls of the abandoned. They feel empty inside and crave contact with living bodies.

Candy Cane Oblique is a being made of the candy canes thrown out after Christmas.
