The Scorpion

Mercenary Lorraine "The Scorpion" Madison was paid good money to clear out the Native American village in order to make way for the new railroad. As the village burned to the ground only the village elder remained to see the blood soaked woman responsible for the carnage and came up with his revenge. Being a woman of inhuman skill, she would no longer be fully human. Using his magic the elder branded her with a scorpion tattoo made of scorpion venom. The Elder explained that the souls of the innocents would not be able to rest due to their brutal murder and would take the form of demonic animals. It would now be up to The Scorpion to defeat the animals and free their souls. If she does not break the curse in one year the tattoo will engulf her entire body and kill her. Will The Scorpion act to preserve her own life or will she learn to act for the salvation of the souls she scarred?

This is my entry for the Dragons of Atlantis design a dragon contest. My idea was it's a dragon that is a shepherd of souls. Metal. He channels the souls of the damned into the bones of his wings to reanimate them. Metal. The dragon wears bandages over his eyes and has his arms bound behind his back as penance for seeing behind death's mysterious shroud. METAL. Next time I draw a dragon it's gonna be the 7 deadly sins represented in a 7 headed dragon.

People throw out the strangest things. While prowling the streets of town one night, Rose Frumdagrave saw plain van drive up to a dumpster and dump a large, bloody, cardboard box into it. Upon discovering the contents she rushed home with the box a made a new friend named Sue-Cher. Sue-Cher isn't entirely stable though, mentally or physically, luckily Rose is a swift and gentle seamstress.

Last night I went to Dr. Sketchy's figure drawing at Titmouse. It was a really fun laid back drawing experience, no pressure to be good just have fun and drink some beers.
We did three 20 minute poses and numerous 10 minute and 5 minute poses.

Cynthia has always lived a life of seclusion, never venturing too far from her home, an abandoned train station deep in a swamp. With green skin she was never exposed to other people except for her grandmother who taught her all the magic (Magjicks) she knows. After her grandmother died she lived alone until she met an orphaned baby gator who instantly bonded with Cynthia and thinks of her as his mother (due to their shared green skin). Cynthia named the gator Gilbert Gilly, after his "cute little gils" (which are actually his scales). Now the two are thick as thieves as they live a life of chaotic magic mishaps.
